Workshop on Human Transportation, Trafficking and Foreign Employment: Interrelationship, Legal Framework and Proposed Amendments

Maiti Nepal conducted a workshop on Human Transportation, Trafficking and Foreign Employment: Interrelationship, Legal Framework and Proposed Amendments’ from 21-22 Juy, 2017 at Gokarna Forest Resort, Gokarna. The workshop was organized with the joint efforts of Crime Trend Analysis Center, Office of Attorney General and Maiti Nepal.

The main aim of the workshop was to make the measures to combat trafficking in women and children in the country more effective by aiding in the process of successful amendment of Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) Act 2064. The participants of the events include Government Prosecutors, Private Lawyers working in the related field, Court Judges and Related Government authorities and Nepal Police.
