Maiti Nepal not only saves and helps survivors of violence but also empowers them through education and vocational training, promoting long-term sustainability. <br> <br> The organization\u2019s remarkable work hasn\u2019t gone unnoticed; it has garnered recognition and awards, including the prestigious CNN Hero of the Year Award and the Padma Shri Award for its  founder.
