Education opens the door to a fulfilling life for these children.<br>Currently, Maiti Nepal provides a home for about 250 children from diverse backgrounds at its<br>Rehabilitation and Child Protection Home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Education-Sponsorship-2-scaled.jpg-.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1192\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Education-Sponsorship-2-scaled.jpg-.jpg 800w, https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Education-Sponsorship-2-scaled.jpg--600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Education-Sponsorship-2-scaled.jpg--768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Education Sponsorship Program, a vital initiative of Maiti Nepal, catalyzes youngsters toward<br>constructive paths in their lives. Thanks to the support of various donors and sponsors, Maiti Nepal<br>offers educational scholarships to its beneficiaries and underprivileged children, enabling them to<br>pursue higher education in various academic institutions. This program has empowered more than<br>200 students to engage in school-level education up to bachelor\u2019s degree programs in fields like Hotel<br>Management, Computer Science, Journalism, Medicine, and Engineering across different institutions in<br>Nepal and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2023, the Education Sponsorship Program directly supported 212 beneficiaries under the care of<br>Maiti Nepal.<br>Among the 212 beneficiaries,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>51 are pursuing their Bachelor&#8217;s degree:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelors Business Studies- 23<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelors in Arts- 4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelors in Social Work- 18<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Social Work- 4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelors in Public Health- 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelors in Information Technology- 1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>6 beneficiaries are pursuing their diploma<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diploma in Hotel Management- 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diploma in Civil Engineering- Architecture- 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diploma in Electrical Engineering- 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diploma in Physiotherapy- 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diploma in Fashion Designing- 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diploma in Agricultural in Animal Science- 1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>14 are pursuing their higher secondary degree from different colleges in Nepal. <\/strong><br><br><strong>139 beneficiaries are studying at their school level from Teresa Academy. <\/strong><br><br><strong>2 beneficiaries are pursuing their Master&#8217;s degree:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Masters in Business Administration- 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Masters in Gender Studies- 1<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"featured_media":1192,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"program-category":[],"class_list":["post-399","program","type-program","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/ne\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/program\/399","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/ne\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/program"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/ne\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/program"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/ne\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1192"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/ne\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=399"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"program-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/maitinepal.org\/ne\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/program-category?post=399"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
