In October 30, 2023, Maiti Nepal Sarlahi hosted a discussion event involving Maiti Nepal employees, Nepal Police, and community representatives. During this gathering, various topics were addressed, including the underlying reasons and consequences of human trafficking, strategies for combating it, Maiti Nepal’s efforts to combat human trafficking, procedures for rescuing and repatriating victims, child labor concerns, workplace sexual abuse, service-related sexual exploitation, and other related issues.
