Standing with Flood-Affected Mothers and Children in Nuwakot

On 8 October, Maiti Nepal distributed 97 relief packages across four holding centres in Bidur-05, Nuwakot, to support flood-affected mothers and children. Of these, seven specialised care packages were provided to pregnant women, 12 essential care packages to breastfeeding mothers, and the remaining packages to mothers with children of different age groups, addressing their specific needs during this challenging time.

In coordination with local authorities and community volunteers, Maiti Nepal continues to support displaced families, with a focus on the safety, well-being, and specific needs of women and children.

Together, we stand for safety, dignity, and care for every affected family.
