Today, Maiti Nepal held its Annual Social Audit for FY 2082/83, bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Foreign Employment, Nepal Police, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Office of the Attorney General, partner organizations, as well as our Board and staff.

Independent consultants presented an evidence-based review of our work over the past year, highlighting key achievements, identifying challenges, and recommending ways forward, particularly in responding to the evolving methods and risks of human trafficking.

We are grateful to all the stakeholders who participated, asked critical questions, and shared their insights. Addressing human trafficking requires strong coordination and collective action across government, civil society, communities, and other stakeholders.
