Maiti Nepal celebrated its 34th Anniversary with joy, reflection, and a renewed commitment to ending human trafficking.
The special highlight of the celebration was honoring five outstanding members of our Border Surveillance Team for their dedication and frontline work. Heartfelt speeches from two honorees, Ms. Shiva Kumari Pariyar and Ms. Laxmi Rana Magar reflected their determination to serve with even greater commitment.
Lively dances and musical performances brought the Maiti Nepal family together, while community outreach and awareness programs across all districts strengthened our mission against human trafficking and gender-based violence.
During the program, Executive Director Mr. Bishwo Ram Khadka delivered an inspiring speech highlighting our journey and achievements. He thanked our staff, government agencies, law enforcement bodies, donors, civil society partners, and national and international partners for making this journey possible.
Our founder, Ms. Anuradha Koirala, expressed her gratitude and called for continued dedication to our mission of safeguarding those at risk of trafficking.
Together, we continue to protect, empower, and uplift countless lives.
