यौन हिंसा उन्मूलनका लागि अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय दिवसको अवसरमा माइती नेपाल सुनसरी र सुनसरी नव युवा संगठनको संयुक्त आयोजनामा इटहरी–२ स्थित राष्ट्रिय माध्यमिक विद्यालयमा कक्षा ९ र १० का विद्यार्थीहरूका लागि जनचेतनामूलक अभिमुखीकरण कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न गरिएको थियो।
कार्यक्रममा महिला हिंसा, यसको प्रभाव, रोकथामका उपायहरू तथा सुरक्षित व्यवहार सम्बन्धी जानकारी प्रदान गरिएको थियो। साथै, हिंसाविरुद्ध सचेतना अभिवृद्धि गर्दै सुरक्षित र सम्मानजनक समाज निर्माणमा युवाहरूको भूमिकाबारे छलफल गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रममा ४९ जना विद्यार्थीहरूको सहभागिता रहेको थियो।
सचेत र सशक्त युवा पुस्ता नै हिंसामुक्त र सुरक्षित समाज निर्माणको आधार हो।
Awareness Orientation Conducted on the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence, Maiti Nepal Sunsari, in collaboration with Sunsari Nava Yuwa Sangathan, conducted an awareness orientation program for Grade 9 and 10 students at Rashtriya Secondary School, Itahari-2.
The session provided information on violence against women, its impacts, prevention measures, and safe practices. Discussions also highlighted the important role young people can play in preventing violence and promoting safe and respectful communities. A total of 49 students participated in the program.
An informed and empowered generation is key to building a safer and violence-free society.
