महिला तथा बालबालिकासँग सम्बन्धित अपराध अनुसन्धान तालिममा सहभागी ३२ जना जुनियर प्रहरी अधिकृतहरूले २०८३ साल भदौ २४ गते माइती नेपालको अवलोकन भ्रमण गर्नुभयो।

माइती नेपालकी संस्थापक तथा अध्यक्ष अनुराधा कोइरालाले सहभागीहरूलाई स्वागत गर्नुभयो र माइती नेपालका उपनिर्देशक अच्युत नेपालले नेपालमा मानव बेचबिखनको वर्तमान अवस्था, बदलिँदा स्वरूप तथा चुनौती बारे प्रस्तुतीकरण गर्नुभयो। प्रस्तुतीकरणमा अपराध अनुसन्धान, अभियोजन र न्यायमा पहुँचका विद्यमान कमी तथा चुनौतीहरूबारे पनि छलफल भयो। सहभागीहरूले यी विषयहरूलाई आफ्नो कार्यसम्पादनका क्रममा ध्यान दिने आशा गर्दछौँ ।

कार्यक्रमले महिला तथा बालबालिकामाथि हुने अपराध र मानव बेचबिखन नियन्त्रणका लागि सम्बन्धित निकायबीच सहकार्य, समन्वय र अनुभव आदानप्रदानलाई थप सुदृढ गर्ने विश्वास गर्दछौँ।

32 Junior Police Officers participating in the Crime Investigation Training on Crimes against Women and Children visited Maiti Nepal on 9 September 2026 (Bhadra 24, 2083).

Maiti Nepal Founder and Chairperson Anuradha Koirala welcomed the participants. Deputy Director Achyut Nepal presented an overview of the current situation, evolving forms and challenges of human trafficking in Nepal. The presentation also addressed gaps and challenges in investigation, prosecution and access to justice. We hope the participants will consider these issues in their future work.

The visit aimed to strengthen coordination, collaboration and knowledge-sharing among those working to prevent trafficking and protect women and children.
