MAITI NEPAL

Partnership

Collaboration lies at the heart of Maiti Nepal’s mission to prevent human trafficking, protect vulnerable populations, and ensure justice and rehabilitation for survivors. Over the years, Maiti Nepal has built strong and enduring partnerships with government agencies, development partners, civil society organizations, law enforcement bodies, and local communities, recognizing that collective effort is key to achieving sustainable change.

At the national level, Maiti Nepal works closely with the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, National Human Rights Commission, Nepal Police, Judicial Committees, and local government bodies to enhance coordination in anti-trafficking interventions and survivor support mechanisms. Internationally, the organization collaborates with various development partners, diplomatic missions, and intergovernmental agencies to strengthen cross-border cooperation, promote safe migration, and align with global frameworks such as the Palermo Protocol and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Maiti Nepal also engages with non-governmental and community-based organizations, educational institutions, and the private sector to amplify awareness, mobilize youth, and expand reintegration and livelihood opportunities for survivors. These collaborations have contributed to impactful initiatives such as awareness campaigns, training programs, transit home operations, psychosocial support services, and national consultations on policy reforms.

Through these multi-stakeholder partnerships, Maiti Nepal continues to foster a coordinated, compassionate, and holistic approach to combating human trafficking and upholding the rights and dignity of women and children across Nepal.
