Maiti Nepal organized a two-day workshop on “Equality, Respect, and Positive Masculinity” in Kolhabi Municipality and Karaimai Rural Municipality to engage parents and adolescent boys in conversations around gender equality and violence prevention.

Through interactive discussions, role plays, and group activities, participants reflected on harmful gender norms and explored positive masculinity rooted in respect, empathy, equality, and shared responsibility. The workshop empowered 25 participants to become change agents within their families and communities, promoting nonviolence and healthier relationships. As an important outcome, two Child Clubs were also formed to continue community dialogue and youth engagement on gender equality and positive social change.
