In observance of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, Maiti Nepal’s legal, shelter, and communication officers from the head office held impactful school orientations on December 3 and 4, 2024, at Aakash Ganga International Academy and Prerana English Boarding Higher School. Engaging over 100 students, the sessions covered critical topics such as understanding gender-based violence, recognizing signs of human trafficking, identifying vulnerable situations, and learning prevention strategies. Students also discussed the importance of reporting mechanisms and how to stand against such injustices in their communities.
