Maiti Nepal set up an information and resource center (IRC) in 2002 to collect, disseminate, process and store information related to women, children, HIV/AIDS and human trafficking as well as to provide the general public with information about these issues as requested by e-mail, fax, or post. The center has a computerized text database system, CDS/ISIS, developed by UNESCO.

• The IRC’S other regular activities include:
•  Publishing monthly newsletter
•  Keeping up to date with news from branch offices
•  Daily social media updates (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter)
•  Collecting case stories
•  Develop documentaries and info-graphic videos
•  Publishing Annual Report
•  Press release
•  Preparing presentation
•  Updating websites
•  Collecting monthly activity report from all the branch offices as well as within the head office
•  Photos and videos collection from all the branch offices
•  Organizing awareness programs in coordination with program officers and field coordinators
•  Maintaining the files of newspaper clippings related to children and women
